As the questioning of the defendant continued, Anne couldn’t help thinking of how she’d warned her daughter of exactly that fact.

If only she’d listened.

  1. I would be begging the opposing council to object at inflammatory and leading questioning like that, but then my only practice is watching Law and Order during exercise. How awful of him.
